Daisybell Kulyuru

Daisybell was born in Pukatja | Ernabella and grew up there. She has moved between her community and Adelaide in recent years, spending time with family and friends in both places. She started weaving several years ago, when she participated in a workshop run by Tjanpi Desert Weavers at Ernabella.

With other ladies in her community she learned how to select the best spinifex, how to prepare it and how to weave in the wool and raffia to produce the beautiful character filled creatures.
