Aileen is from Fregon on the APY lands. Her mother’s country is around the very remote community of Docker River some 700km, a 7 hour drive west of Alice Springs and her father is from Amata on the APY Lands, situated approx. 500kms SW from Alice Springs.
Moving to Adelaide in recent times with her partner, to access education and services for their 4 children, Aileen has taken up painting. She likes to paint Piltati / Watersnake Story passed down from her grandmother.
